Colonel Vivian Henry Spencer Hannay was born in 1921.1 He was the son of Henry Archibald Blair Hannay and Ella Christina Porter.2 He married, firstly, Betty Margaret Hunt, daughter of John William Hunt.1 He married, secondly, Sheilah Helen Richardson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Turnbull Richardson, on 5 May 1967.1 He died on 15 May 2019.3
