     Vivian Claude Hamilton was born on 22 April 1887.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Hamilton and Emily Agnes Maclean.² He married Catherine Lynch, daughter of Captain John Lynch, on 3 September 1919.¹ He died on 18 February 1929 at age 41.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Captain John Lynch gained the rank of Captain in the Remount Depot Bangalore.¹

     Catherine Lynch is the daughter of Captain John Lynch.² She married Vivian Claude Hamilton, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Hamilton and Emily Agnes Maclean, on 3 September 1919.¹
     From 3 September 1919, her married name became Hamilton.

     Isabel Maude Mary Hamilton was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Hamilton and Emily Agnes Maclean.² She married Douglas Mappin on 14 July 1910.¹ She died on 19 August 1948, leaving issue.¹
     Isabel Maude Mary Hamilton also went by the nick-name of Isma.¹ From 14 July 1910, her married name became Mappin.

     John Angus Lushington Hamilton was born on 10 May 1846.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Hamilton and Frances Isabella Gane.² He married Myra Emily Wood Moore, daughter of Beaufroy Alfred Moore and Sarah Powell, on 17 May 1873.¹ He died on 16 December 1879 at age 33.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd West India Regiment.¹

     Myra Emily Wood Moore was born circa 1860 at Kilburn, London, England.² She was the daughter of Beaufroy Alfred Moore and Sarah Powell.^1,3 She married, firstly, John Angus Lushington Hamilton, son of Henry Charles Hamilton and Frances Isabella Gane, on 17 May 1873.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Arthur Wing Pinero on 19 April 1883.¹ She died on 29 June 1919.¹
     From 17 May 1873, her married name became Hamilton. From 19 April 1883, her married name became Pinero.¹

     John Angus Lushington Moore Hamilton was born on 19 February 1874.¹ He was the son of John Angus Lushington Hamilton and Myra Emily Wood Moore.² He married Helen Frances Reilly, daughter of George Stiles Reilly, on 14 September 1906.¹ He died on 14 June 1913 at age 39.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹
