David Henry Hamar Greenwood, 2nd Viscount Greenwood was born on 30 October 1914.1 He was the son of Thomas Hamar Greenwood, 1st Viscount Greenwood and Margery Spencer.1 He died on 30 July 1998 at age 83, unmarried.1
He was educated at Bowers GiffordG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Greenwood, of Holbourne, co. London [U.K., 1937] on 10 September 1948.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Greenwood, of Llanbister, co. Radnor [U.K., 1929] on 10 September 1948.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Greenwood, of Llanbister, co. Radnor [U.K., 1915] on 10 September 1948.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He was chairman of The London Cremation Company in 1973.1
