Emma de Laval was born between 1197 and 1198. She was the daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon. She married, firstly, Robert II de Montgomery, Comte d'Alençon, son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d'Alençon and Beatrix de Maine, before 1215. She married, secondly, Mathieu II de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency, son of Bouchard V, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur de d'Ecouen, de Marly et de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Laurette de Hainaut, before July 1218.1 She married, thirdly, Jean de Toucy, Seigneur de Toucy et de Saint-Fargeau in 1231. She died on 24 April 1264.2
From before July 1218, her married name became de Montmorency. From 1231, her married name became de Toucy.

Robert II de Montgomery, Comte d'Alençon was the son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d'Alençon and Beatrix de Maine. He married, firstly, Jeanne de Preuilly after 1191. He married, secondly, Emma de Laval, daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon, before 1215. He died on 8 September 1217.1

Brigadier Sir Jeffrey Lionel Darell, 8th Bt. was born on 2 October 1919.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Guy Marsland Darell and Esmé Violet Stewart-Savile.3 He married Bridget Mary Adair, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Allan Henry Shafto Adair, 6th Bt. and Enid Violet Ida Ward, on 30 June 1953.2 He died on 27 February 2013 at age 93.4
