     Lt.-Col. Jean Alexander Gibson was born in 1714.¹ He was the son of James Gibson and Catherine Minnaert.² He married Jeanne van de Walle, daughter of Louis van de Walle.¹ He died in 1793.¹
     He was Commandant of the Fortress of Nieuport.¹

     Louis van de Walle held the office of Sheriff of Nieuport.¹

     Jeanne van de Walle is the daughter of Louis van de Walle.² She married Lt.-Col. Jean Alexander Gibson, son of James Gibson and Catherine Minnaert.¹
     Her married name became Gibson.

     Henriette Gibson was born in 1773.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Jean Alexander Gibson and Jeanne van de Walle.² She married Louis Coppieters, son of Charles Louis Coppieters, Seigneur de la Torre, on 30 April 1798.¹ She died in 1855.¹
     From 30 April 1798, her married name became Coppieters.

     Charles Louis Coppieters, Seigneur de la Torre held the office of Burgomaster of Nieuport.¹

     Louis Coppieters was the son of Charles Louis Coppieters, Seigneur de la Torre.² He married Henriette Gibson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Jean Alexander Gibson and Jeanne van de Walle, on 30 April 1798.¹ He died in 1814, leaving issue.¹

     Henry Rummel lived at Estancia Cerro Volean, San Julian, Argentina^G.¹

     Emily Ellen Rummel is the daughter of Henry Rummel.² She married Sir Eardley Charles William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 6th/13th Bt., son of Henry Vivian Gibson-Craig and Emily Dulcibella Wilmot, on 2 September 1914.¹
     From 2 September 1914, her married name became Gibson-Craig-Carmichael.

     Emily Edith Gibson-Craig-Carmichael was born in 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Eardley Charles William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 6th/13th Bt. and Emily Ellen Rummel.²

     Kathleen Joan Gibson-Craig-Carmichael was born in 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Eardley Charles William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 6th/13th Bt. and Emily Ellen Rummel.² She married Charles Taylor Darling, son of Professor C. R. Darling, on 6 July 1940.¹
     From 6 July 1940, her married name became Darling.
