George Robert Gayre was born on 6 August 1907.1 He was the son of Robert William Gayre and Dublin Clara Hart.2 He married Nina Mary Terry, daughter of Reverend Louis Thomas Terry and Nina Margaret Hill, on 23 September 1933.1 He died on 10 February 1996 at age 88.1
