     Anna Maria Stapylton was the daughter of Miles Stapylton.² She married Sir William Gerard, 11th Bt., son of Sir Robert Cansfield Gerard, 9th Bt. and Catherine Anderton, on 21 December 1795.¹ She died on 13 September 1808.¹
     From 21 December 1795, her married name became Gerard.

     Elizabeth Ferrers is the daughter of Edward Ferrers.² She married, thirdly, William Gerard Walmsley.³ She married, secondly, John Gerard, son of Sir Robert Cansfield Gerard, 9th Bt. and Catherine Anderton, on 22 February 1803.¹
     Her married name became Walmsley.³ From 22 February 1803, her married name became Gerard.

     Sir John Gerard, 12th Bt. was born on 8 December 1804.¹ He was the son of John Gerard and Elizabeth Ferrers.² He married Monica Standish, daughter of Thomas Strickland Standish, on 3 December 1827.¹ He died on 21 February 1854 at age 49, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Gerard, of Bryn, co. Palatine of Lancaster [E., 1611] on 2 August 1826.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Regiment Royal Lancashire Militia.¹

     Thomas Strickland Standish lived at Sizebergh, England^G.¹ He lived at Standish, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Monica Standish was the daughter of Thomas Strickland Standish.² She married Sir John Gerard, 12th Bt., son of John Gerard and Elizabeth Ferrers, on 3 December 1827.¹ She died on 4 May 1865.¹
     From 3 December 1827, her married name became Gerard.

     William Gerard was born on 18 May 1806.¹ He was the son of John Gerard and Elizabeth Ferrers.² He married Mary Bretherton, daughter of Bartholomew Bretherton, in March 1829.¹ He died in October 1844 at age 38, without issue.¹

     Mary Bretherton was the daughter of Bartholomew Bretherton.¹ She married, firstly, William Gerard, son of John Gerard and Elizabeth Ferrers, in March 1829.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Gilbert Stapleton, son of Thomas Stapleton and Mary Juliana Gerard, on 19 January 1848.¹ She died on 22 December 1883.¹
     From May 1829, her married name became Gerard. From 19 January 1848, her married name became Stapleton.¹ On 16 June 1869 her name was legally changed to Mary Bretherton-Stapleton.¹ She was created Marchesa Bretherton-Stapleton [Vatican], by HH The Pope.¹
