Sir Frederick William Edward Forestier Walker was born in 1844.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Edward Forestier Walker and Lady Jane Ogilvy-Grant.2 He married Mabel Louisa Ross, daughter of Colonel Ernest Ross, in 1887.1 He died on 30 August 1910.1
He held the office of Commander-in-Chief of Egypt between 1891 and 1895.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1894.1 He was General Colonel of the King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1900.1 He held the office of Governor of Gibralter between 1905 and 1910.1
