Sir Richard FitzHerbert, 5th Bt. was born on 12 April 1846.2 He was the son of Sir William Fitzherbert, 4th Bt. and Annie Alleyne.2 He married Mary Anne Arkwright, daughter of Edward Arkwright, on 10 October 1871.2 He died on 4 January 1906 at age 59.2
He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated from Warsop, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG, with a the Rector.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet FitzHerbert, of Tissington Hall, co. Derby [G.B., 1784] on 12 October 1896.2
