     Sir Frederick William Fison, 1st Bt. was born on 4 December 1847.1 He was the son of William Fison and Fanny Whitaker.2 He married Isabella Crossley, daughter of Joseph Crossley, on 23 April 1872.1 He died on 20 December 1927 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (C) Doncaster in 1895.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Fison, of Grenholme, Burley-in-Wharfedale [U.K.] on 27 July 1905.1

     Isabella Crossley was the daughter of Joseph Crossley.2 She married Sir Frederick William Fison, 1st Bt., son of William Fison and Fanny Whitaker, on 23 April 1872.1 She died on 1 May 1932.1
     From 23 April 1872, her married name became Fison.

     Sir Francis Geoffrey Fison, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 March 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick William Fison, 1st Bt. and Isabella Crossley.2 He died on 19 January 1948 at age 74, unmarried.1
     Sir Francis Geoffrey Fison, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Geoffrey.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fison, of Grenholme, Burley-in-Wharfedale [U.K., 1905] on 20 December 1927.1

     Hugh Valentine Fison was born on 3 May 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick William Fison, 1st Bt. and Isabella Crossley.2 He died on 5 October 1898 at age 23, from enteric contratacted at the Battle of Omdurman. unmarried.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Northumberland Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Battle of Omdurman.1
