Robert Sempill was born in 1672.1 He was the son of Archibald Sempill.1 He married Elizabeth Abercromby.2 He died before 11 November 1737.1
He was educated at Scots College, Douai, FranceG.2 He gained the rank of Cadet before 1688 in the Normandois Infantry Regiment, French Army.2 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1689 in the Scottish Guards.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1708 in the Lord Galmoye's Infantry Regiment.1 In 1712 he was seemingly recognised as 9th Lord Sempill (being heir male to 8th Lord) by titular James III.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1714/15 in the Dillon Regiment.1

Francis Sempill was the son of Robert Sempill and Elizabeth Abercromby.1 He married Lady Mary Mackenzie, daughter of Kenneth Mackenzie, 4th Earl of Seaforth and Lady Frances Herbert, in a apparent marriage.2 He died on 9 December 1748.1
He was also recognised by Jacobites as 10th Lord Sempill.2 He was educated at Scots College, Douai, FranceG.2 He was titular James III's agent in Paris before 1738.2

Thomas de Furnivalle, 3rd Baron Furnivalle was born on 22 June 1322 at Alton, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Thomas de Furnivalle, 2nd Baron Furnivalle and Joan de Verdun.2 He married, secondly, Joan de Mounteney, daughter of Sir Thomas de Mounteney.1 He married, firstly, Margaret (?) before 1336.1 He died on 21 April 1365 at age 42, without issue.1
