     Edith Wolrige Gordon was born circa 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Perkins Wolrige and Ann Wolrige Gordon, 7th of Esslemont and 18th of Hallhead.² She died on 5 January 1956, unmarried.¹

     Isabel Hervey Wodehouse was the daughter of William Hervey Wodehouse.¹ She married John Gordon Wolrige Gordon, 8th of Esslemont and 19th of Hallhead, son of Henry Perkins Wolrige and Ann Wolrige Gordon, 7th of Esslemont and 18th of Hallhead, on 30 April 1889.¹ She died on 28 February 1911.¹
     From 30 April 1889, her married name became Gordon.

     Robert Wolrige Gordon, 9th of Esslemont and 20th of Hallhead was born on 28 August 1890.¹ He was the son of John Gordon Wolrige Gordon, 8th of Esslemont and 19th of Hallhead and Isabel Hervey Wodehouse.² He married Joan Walter, daughter of Hubert Walter and Dame Flora Louisa Cecilia Macleod, 28th of Macleod, on 25 January 1927.¹ He died on 3 October 1939 at age 49.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of in 1910 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Aberdeenshire in 1911.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded twice.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1915.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.¹ He was on the staff of the Governor-General of Canada between 1922 and 1924.¹

     Isabel Wolrige Gordon was born on 5 April 1893.¹ He was the son of John Gordon Wolrige Gordon, 8th of Esslemont and 19th of Hallhead and Isabel Hervey Wodehouse.² He died on 26 December 1966 at age 73, unmarried.¹

     Joan Walter was born on 8 April 1905 at Paddington, London, England^G.^2,3 She is the daughter of Hubert Walter and Dame Flora Louisa Cecilia Macleod, 28th of Macleod.^2,1 She married Robert Wolrige Gordon, 9th of Esslemont and 20th of Hallhead, son of John Gordon Wolrige Gordon, 8th of Esslemont and 19th of Hallhead and Isabel Hervey Wodehouse, on 25 January 1927.¹
     From 25 January 1927, her married name became Wolrige Gordon.¹

     Augustine Campbell-Johnston was born in 1858.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Robert Campbell-Johnston and Frances Helen Palliser.¹ She died in 1920.²

     Patrick Wolrige Gordon was born on 10 August 1935.¹ He was the son of Robert Wolrige Gordon, 9th of Esslemont and 20th of Hallhead and Joan Walter.² He married Anne Marie Howard, daughter of Peter Dunsmore Howard and Doris Emily Metaxa, on 2 June 1962.¹ He died on 22 May 2002 at age 66.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for East Aberdeenshire between 1958 and 1974.¹
