     William Gordon is the son of Colonel George Gordon, 4th of Esslemont and 15th of Hallhead and Anne Baird.2
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1810.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1814 in the 42nd Highlanders.1 He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.1 On 10 April 1814 at Toulouse, FranceG, killed in action.1

George Gordon1

     George Gordon was born on 6 June 1796.1 He was the son of Colonel George Gordon, 4th of Esslemont and 15th of Hallhead and Anne Baird.2 He died on 9 December 1815 at age 19, aboard H.M.S. Hecate off Batavia, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1811 in the Royal Navy.1

     Conway Seymour Campbell-Johnston was born on 5 September 1859.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Robert Campbell-Johnston and Frances Helen Palliser.1 He married Ida McBride in 1888.1 He died on 7 May 1915 at age 55, drowned in the sinking of R.M.S. Lusitania.1

     Henrietta Hope Napier is the daughter of Captain Hon. Charles Napier and Christian Hamilton.2 She married Colonel George Gordon, 4th of Esslemont and 15th of Hallhead, son of Robert Gordon, 3rd of Esslemont and 14th of Hallhead and Lady Henrietta Gordon, on 22 February 1807.1
     From 22 February 1807, her married name became Gordon.1

Charles Napier Gordon, 6th of Esslemont and 17th of Hallhead1

     Charles Napier Gordon, 6th of Esslemont and 17th of Hallhead was born on 28 November 1811.1 He was the son of Colonel George Gordon, 4th of Esslemont and 15th of Hallhead and Henrietta Hope Napier.2 He died on 16 June 1864 at age 52, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Volunteer, 1st Class between 1827 and 1830 in the Royal Navy.1
