Helen Burgess Watson is the daughter of Edwin Burges Watson and Mary Wauchope.1 She married, firstly, Admiral Sir Charles Hope Dundas of Dundas, son of Adam Alexander Duncan Dundas of Dundas and Charlotte Maria Hope, on 26 May 1897.1 She married, secondly, Vice-Admiral Hubert Seeds Monroe in 1926.1

Major Adam Duncan Dundas of Dundas was born on 28 July 1903.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Hope Dundas of Dundas and Helen Burgess Watson.2,1 He married Effie Nind, daughter of T. Guy Nind, on 7 July 1928.1 He died on 7 May 1951 at age 47.1,3

James Hamilton Dundas was born on 3 July 1915.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Hope Dundas of Dundas and Helen Burgess Watson.2 He married Ruth Farmiloe, daughter of George Arthur Farmiloe, on 9 September 1939.1 He died in 1986.1
He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 In 1937 he qualified as a Fleet Air Arm Pilot.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1941.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1956.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1970.1
