George Dundas, 21st of Dundas is the son of George Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Hay.2 He married Alison Bruce, daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Bruce, 6th of Kennet and Mary Swinton, on 20 June 1718.1

Barbara Dundas is the daughter of George Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Hay.2 A contract for the marriage of Barbara Dundas and Alexander Irvine, 2nd of Saphock was signed on 2 March 1724.1

Alexander Irvine, 2nd of Saphock was baptised on 11 February 1679.2 He was the son of Reverend John Irvine and Janet Birnie.2 A contract for the marriage of Alexander Irvine, 2nd of Saphock and Barbara Dundas was signed on 2 March 1724.1 He died in 1745.2
He was admitted to Advocate, Edinburgh.2 On 26 July 1725 he bought Tillygreig and Knapperna and had them erected with Saphock into the Barony of Drum.2
