     Gerald Fitzgibbon was the son of David Fitzgibbon and unknown wife (?)2 He died in 1582, without issue.1
     He was possessed of Knocklong, Hamonstown, and Ballyscaddan, County Limerick.1 Gerald Fitzgibbon also went by the nick-name of 'Mac an tShen Ridire'.1

Maurice Fitzgibbon1

     Maurice Fitzgibbon was the son of David Fitzgibbon and unknown wife (?)2 He married Sheela Burke, daughter of John Burke.1 He died on 1 October 1601.1
     For not having joined in Desmond's rebellion, he was allowed to inherit his brother's lands.1 He lived at Ballynahinch, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 On 17 January 1600 he mortgaged some of his lands to Maurice Hurley.1
