Gerald Fitzgibbon was the son of David Fitzgibbon and unknown wife (?)2 He died in 1582, without issue.1

Maurice Fitzgibbon was the son of David Fitzgibbon and unknown wife (?)2 He married Sheela Burke, daughter of John Burke.1 He died on 1 October 1601.1
For not having joined in Desmond's rebellion, he was allowed to inherit his brother's lands.1 He lived at Ballynahinch, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 On 17 January 1600 he mortgaged some of his lands to Maurice Hurley.1
