     John Steuart Duckett was born on 10 June 1876.¹ He was the son of Steuart James Charles Duckett and Catherine Seton Dick-Lauder.²

     Amy Anne Charlotte Duckett is the daughter of Steuart James Charles Duckett and Catherine Seton Dick-Lauder.² She married Brig.-Gen. Louis Murray Phillpotts, son of Reverend Henry John Phillpotts and Catherine Mary Robertson, on 6 October 1909.³ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Frederick Lewis Makgill Crichton Maitland, son of Maj.-Gen. David Makgill Crichton Maitland and Lady Margaret Pleydell-Bouverie, on 21 February 1921.⁴ She died on 26 May 1927.⁴
     From 6 October 1909, her married name became Phillpotts. From 21 February 1921, her married name became Makgill Crichton Maitland.⁴

     Joshua Strangman was born in 1638 at Colchester, Essex, England.¹ He was the son of Samuel Strangman and Hester Warren.¹ He married Jane Johnson on 3 January 1671 at Tinnamuck, Kilmanaghan, County Offaly, Ireland.¹ He died in May 1691 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     Samuel Strangman was born on 14 November 1610 at Essex, England.¹ He married Hester Warren, daughter of Joshua Warren and Sarah Morris, in 1635 at Colchester, Essex, England.¹ He died on 9 October 1695 at age 84 at Waterstown, County Westmeath, Ireland.¹

     Charles Edward Henry Duckett-Steuart was born on 1 March 1853.¹ He was the son of William Duckett and Harriet Isabella Anne Gordon.² He married Annie Seymour, daughter of Hon. B. Seymour, on 21 August 1873.¹ He died in 1904.¹
     He was given the name of Charles Edward Henry Duckett at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1879.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.¹ In 1894 his name was legally changed to Charles Edward Henry Duckett-Steuart by Royal Licence.¹ He lived at Rutland Lodge, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Hon. B. Seymour held the office of Senator [Ontario].¹ He lived at Port Hope, Ontario, Canada^G.¹

     Annie Seymour is the daughter of Hon. B. Seymour.² She married Charles Edward Henry Duckett-Steuart, son of William Duckett and Harriet Isabella Anne Gordon, on 21 August 1873.¹
     From 21 August 1873, her married name became Duckett. From 1894, her married name became Duckett-Steuart.

     William Steuart Duckett was born on 27 June 1874.¹ He was the son of Charles Edward Henry Duckett-Steuart and Annie Seymour.²

     Aileene Seymour Duckett was born on 1 July 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Edward Henry Duckett-Steuart and Annie Seymour.² She married C. H. Dickinson, son of Dean Dickinson.¹
