     Joshua Vanneck, 1st Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall was born on 31 December 1745.¹ He was the son of Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Daubuz.¹ He married Maria Thompson, daughter of Andrew Thompson and Harriet Buncombe, on 29 September 1777 at St. Peter le Poor, London, England^G.¹ He died on 15 August 1816 at age 70 at Heveningham Hall, Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in August 1816.¹
     He was educated between 26 May 1755 and 1756 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was a merchant at London, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich between 1790 and 1816.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Vanneck, of Putney, co. Surrey [G.B., 1751] on 23 May 1791.¹ He was created 1st Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall [Ireland] on 7 July 1796.¹ He lived at Heveningham Hall, Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Maria Thompson was the daughter of Andrew Thompson and Harriet Buncombe.¹ She married Joshua Vanneck, 1st Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall, son of Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Daubuz, on 29 September 1777 at St. Peter le Poor, London, England^G.¹ She died on 7 December 1811 at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Vanneck. After her marriage, Maria Thompson was styled as Baroness Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall on 7 July 1796.

     He emigrated to London, England^G, arriving on 1722.² He was a merchant at London, England^G.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Vanneck, of Putney, co. Surrey [Great Britain] on 14 December 1751.¹ He lived at Heveningham Hall, Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.²

     Mary Anne Daubuz was the daughter of Stephen Daubuz.¹ She married Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt., son of Cornelius Vanneck, on 20 February 1731/32.² She died on 1 December 1750.²

     Elizabeth Vanneck was the daughter of Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Daubuz.¹ She married Hon. Thomas Walpole, son of Horatio Walpole, 1st Baron Walpole of Wolterton and Mary Magdalen Lombard, on 14 November 1753.² She died on 9 June 1760.²
     From 14 November 1753, her married name became Walpole.

     Sir Charles Turner, 1st Bt. was born in 1666.² He was the son of William Turner and Anne Spooner.³ He married Mary Blois, daughter of Sir William Blois and Martha Brooke.³ He married Mary Walpole, daughter of Robert Walpole and Mary Burwell, in April 1689.² He died on 24 November 1738, without surviving issue.²
     He was educated at Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for King's Lynn between 1695 and 1728.³ He was appointed Knight on 22 March 1696.³ He held the office of Lord of the Treasury between 1720 and 1730.³ He was created 1st Baronet Turner, of Warham, co. Norfolk [Great Britain] on 27 April 1727.² He lived at Warham, Norfolk, England^G.
