Hon. Caroline Henrietta Stuart was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Robert Walter Stuart, 11th Lord Blantyre and Fanny Mary Rodney.2 She married, firstly, William Rashleigh. She married, secondly, John Charles Ogilvy-Grant, 7th Earl of Seafield, son of Colonel Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 6th Earl of Seafield and Mary Anne Dunn, on 12 August 1850.1 She died on 16 October 1911.3
Her married name became Rashleigh. From 12 August 1850, her married name became Ogilvy-Grant.1 After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Henrietta Stuart was styled as Countess of Seafield on 30 July 1853. In 1884 she succeeded to the Grant and Seafield estates.4
