     From 22 July 1947, her married name became Purcell-Gilpin.

     From 14 February 1929, her married name became Shennan. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire in 1946.¹ She lived in 1976 at Dairy Cottage, Siddington, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     David Anderson Shennan married Margarita Dolores Parish, daughter of Francis Parish.¹

     Major Malcolm Kenneth Shennan was born on 20 July 1936.¹ He is the son of Major Kenneth Gordon Woodbine Shennan and Lilah Maude Daly.² He married Rosanna Mary Crombie, daughter of Rear-Admiral John Harvey Forbes Crombie and Rosamond Marguerite Style, on 17 April 1964.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 1976 at The Old Rectory, Closworth, Yeovil, Somerset, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.¹
