     Sarah Ridley was the daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Bt. and Laura Hawkins.¹ She married John Cookson on 11 April 1837.² She died on 22 July 1864.²
     From 11 April 1837, her married name became Cookson.²

     Marianne Ridley was the daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Bt. and Laura Hawkins.¹ She married Reverend Andrew Corbett on 5 January 1839.² She died in 1898.²
     From 5 January 1839, her married name became Corbett.²

     Janetta Maria Ridley was the daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Bt. and Laura Hawkins.¹ She married Isaac Thomas Cookson, son of Thomas Cookson and Elizabeth Earle, on 23 February 1843.² She died in 1867.²
     From 23 February 1843, her married name became Cookson.² She and Isaac Thomas Cookson emigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand, arriving on 28 August 1851 on board Dominion.³

     Mary Ridley was born circa 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Bt. and Laura Hawkins.¹ She died on 1 January 1821, in infancy.¹

     Lord Ernest McDonnell Vane-Tempest was born on 29 February 1836.² He was the son of Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane-Tempest.¹ He married Mary Townshend Hutchinson, daughter of Thomas Hutchinson, on 12 January 1869.¹ He died on 14 August 1885 at age 49.²
     He was given the name of Ernest McDonnell Vane at birth.¹ On 28 June 1851 his name was legally changed to Ernest McDonnell Vane-Tempest by Royal Licence.¹

     Mary Townshend Hutchinson is the daughter of Thomas Hutchinson.¹ She married Lord Ernest McDonnell Vane-Tempest, son of Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane-Tempest, on 12 January 1869.¹
     From 12 January 1869, her married name became Vane-Tempest.²

     Charles Henry Vane-Tempest was born on 22 February 1871.² He was the son of Lord Ernest McDonnell Vane-Tempest and Mary Townshend Hutchinson.² He married Florence Mary Kirk, daughter of William Kirk, on 13 April 1893.¹ He died on 20 February 1899 at age 27.²

     Florence Mary Kirk was born on 14 December 1872.² She was the daughter of William Kirk.³ She married, firstly, Charles Henry Vane-Tempest, son of Lord Ernest McDonnell Vane-Tempest and Mary Townshend Hutchinson, on 13 April 1893.³ She married, secondly, Nigel Sydney Augustine Harrison on 3 June 1903.³ She died on 15 April 1942 at age 69.²
     From 13 April 1893, her married name became Vane-Tempest.¹ From 3 June 1903, her married name became Harrison.³

     Ernest Charles William Vane-Tempest was born on 24 July 1894.¹ He was the son of Charles Henry Vane-Tempest and Florence Mary Kirk.¹ He married, firstly, Aline Mary Loftus St. George, daughter of Loftus St. George and Marguerite Isabel Clifford Borrer, on 19 December 1918.² He and Aline Mary Loftus St. George were divorced in 1933.² He married, secondly, Anne Elizabeth Humphreys, daughter of Captain Evan Humphreys, on 23 December 1933.² He died on 24 August 1957 at age 63.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserves.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)²

     Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest was born on 5 May 1896.¹ He was the son of Charles Henry Vane-Tempest and Florence Mary Kirk.¹ He died on 25 March 1917 at age 20, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.²
