     Edmond Bourke was the son of Ulick Bourke, 3rd Earl of Clanricarde and Honora Burke.1 He married Katherine St. Lawrence, daughter of Thomas St. Lawrence.1 He died on 22 June 1639.1
     He lived at Kilcornan, County Galway, IrelandG.1 He was also known as Edmund de Burgh. He was ancestor of the Burkes of Kilcornan and the Burkes of greenfield, County Galway.1

     Richard Bourke, 8th Earl of Clanricarde was the son of William Bourke, 7th Earl of Clanricarde and Lettice Shirley.1 He married, secondly, Anne Cheeke, daughter of Sir Thomas Cheeke and Essex Rich.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Bagnall on 22 January 1669/70 in a private marriage.1 He married, thirdly, Bridget Dillon, daughter of Henry Dillon, 8th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Frances Hamilton, before 1702.3 He died on 2 February 1709, without surviving male issue.1,4
     He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Bourke of Clanmories co. Mayo [I., 1629] in October 1687.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Clanricarde [I., 1543] in October 1687.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron of Dunkellin [I., 1543] in October 1687.1 He held the office of Governor of Galway in 1689, when he surrendered that town to Ginkel after the Battle of Aughrim.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1689 to King James II after his flight from England.1 He was commander of the regiment of Infantry in the Irish Army of King James II in 1689.1 On 11 May 1691 he was outlawed.1

     Lady Bridget Bourke was the daughter of John Bourke, 9th Earl of Clanricarde and Mary Talbot.1,2 She married Richard Dillon, 9th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, son of Henry Dillon, 8th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Frances Hamilton, in 1720.2 She died on 16 July 1779.2
     After her marriage, Lady Bridget Bourke was styled as Viscountess Dillon of Costello-Gallin in 1720. From 1720, her married name became Dillon.

     Richard Dillon, 9th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin was born in 1688.1 He was the son of Henry Dillon, 8th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Frances Hamilton.2 He married Lady Bridget Bourke, daughter of John Bourke, 9th Earl of Clanricarde and Mary Talbot, in 1720.1 He died in February 1737.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, co. Mayo [I., 1622] on 13 January 1713/14.1
