Jean Jacques du Cros, Seigneur de la Combe was born circa 1584.1 He was the son of Guillaume du Cros, Seigneur du Cros. Marriage banns for Jean Jacques du Cros, Seigneur de la Combe and Marie de Fambon were published on 9 April 1606.1 Marriage banns for Jean Jacques du Cros, Seigneur de la Combe and Jeanne d'Esterre were published on 15 January 1617.1 He died on 15 August 1646.1

François du Cros, Seigneur de la Combe was born in 1660.1 He was the son of Jacques du Cros and Madeleine d'Estienne.2 He married Suzanne Donnadieu, daughter of Jean Donnadieu, on 15 July 1679.1
He gained the rank of Captain in 1679 in the Regiment Royal of Infantry.1 On 7 May 1697 he was adjudged noble and entitled to arms by arrest de conseil.1 On 16 September 1699 he was served heir to his uncle Armerie d'Estienne, Seigneur de Pradilles.1
