     He was Vicar at Dunkerton, Somerset, England.² He was given the name of Frederick Sowdon at birth.² After 1853 his name was legally changed to Frederick Grosvenor.²

     Frederick Saumarez was born on 19 October 1794.¹ He was the son of Richard Saumarez and Martha Le Mesurier.² He died on 20 January 1886 at age 91.¹

     Captain Thomas Saumarez was born on 8 June 1796.¹ He was the son of Richard Saumarez and Martha Le Mesurier.² He died on 19 May 1823 at age 26.¹
