     Lt.-Col. Sir Frederick William Shaw, 5th Bt. was born on 15 March 1858.² He was the son of Lt. Col. Sir Robert Shaw, 4th Bt. and Catherine Grace Barton.³ He married Eleanor Hester de Vere, daughter of Major Francis Horatio de Vere and Anne Celestine Burke, on 8 July 1885.¹ He died on 15 July 1927 at age 69.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Shaw, of Bushy Park, co.      Margaret Elizabeth de Vere was born on 13 May 1865.¹ She was the daughter of Major Francis Horatio de Vere and Anne Celestine Burke.² She married, firstly, Frank J. Joyce on 4 September 1884.¹ She married, secondly, Brig.-Gen. Cyril Prescott-Decie, son of Colonel Richard Prescott-Decie, on 20 October 1908.¹ She died on 10 April 1949 at age 83, without issue.¹

     Alice Henrietta Dew was the daughter of Major Frederick Napleton Dew.¹ She married Colonel Richard Prescott-Decie, son of Timothy Henry Decie and Catherine Hale Prescott, on 23 January 1908 at Kensington, London, England.¹ She died on 22 January 1913 at Hereford, Herefordshire, England.^1,2
     From 23 January 1908, her married name became Prescott-Decie.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Cyril Prescott-Decie is the son of Colonel Richard Prescott-Decie.² He married Margaret Elizabeth de Vere, daughter of Major Francis Horatio de Vere and Anne Celestine Burke, on 20 October 1908.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Reverend Charlton Maxwell was born in 1812.² He was the son of Reverend Peter Benson Maxwell and Hester Emily O'Hara.² He married, firstly, Emily Augusta Grace Ponsonby, daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon.      William Horace de Vere Cole was born on 5 May 1881.¹ He was the son of Major William Utting Cole and Mary O'Brien de Vere.² He married, secondly, Mabel Winifred Mary Wright.¹ He married, firstly, Denise Ann Marie Jose Lynch Daly, daughter of Lieutenant Denis Andrew Malachy Daly and Kathleen Mary Lynch, on 30 September 1918.¹ He and Denise Ann Marie Jose Lynch Daly were divorced in 1928.¹ He died in February 1936 at age 54.¹
     William Horace de Vere Cole usually went by his middle name of Horace.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was the perpetrator of many hoaxes including the digging up of Piccadilly and the celebrated 'Dreadnougtht Hoax' when he and a band of accomplices (who included Virginia Stephen (the future Virginia Woolf) and Duncan Grant) visited a Royal Navy battleship in guise of Emperor of Abyssinia and his suite.¹ He was a distinguished Fabian and socialist.¹

     Valerie Cole is the daughter of William Horace de Vere Cole and Denise Ann Marie Jose Lynch Daly.^2,1 She married Marcel Crosia on 28 July 1945.¹
