Margaret Alice Fynes-Clinton was the daughter of Eustace Fynes-Clinton and Louisa Richenda Cunningham.2 She married Ernest Norman Travers Cummins, son of Maj.-Gen. James Turner Cummins and Louisa Dunman, on 9 November 1907.1 She died on 4 January 1970.1

Maj.-Gen. James Turner Cummins was born on 12 October 1843.2 He was the son of Nicholas Cummins and Julia Anne Travers.3 He married Louisa Dunman, daughter of T. Dunman, in 1869.2 He died on 24 October 1912 at age 69.2
He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1880.2 He fought in the Egyptian War in 1882.2 He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1885.2 He fought in the Burmese Expedition between 1886 and 1890, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1887.2 He was commanding officer of the 5th Infantry Brigade.2 He fought in the China War between 1900 and 1903, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1901.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Indian Army.2
