Frederick Somerset Gough-Calthorpe was born on 27 May 1892.¹ He was the son of Somerset Frederick Gough-Calthorpe, 8th Baron Calthorpe and Mary Burrows.¹ He married Rose Mary Dorothy Vernon-Harcourt, daughter of Leveson William Vernon-Harcourt and Rose Adelaide Lawrence, on 5 September 1922 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ He died on 19 November 1935 at age 43.¹

     Mary Burrows was the daughter of Ogden Hoffman Burrows.¹ She married Somerset Frederick Gough-Calthorpe, 8th Baron Calthorpe, son of Lt.-Gen. Somerset John Gough-Calthorpe, 7th Baron Calthorpe and Eliza Maria Chamier, on 22 July 1891.¹ She died on 2 July 1940.¹
     Her married name became Gough-Calthorpe. After her marriage, Mary Burrows was styled as Baroness Calthorpe on 16 November 1912. She adopted Timothy Robertson Bruce.²

     Ronald Arthur Somerset Gough-Calthorpe, 9th Baron Calthorpe was born on 22 June 1924.¹ He was the son of Hon. Frederick Somerset Gough-Calthorpe and Rose Mary Dorothy Vernon-Harcourt.¹ He died on 9 October 1945 at age 21, killed in a flying accident, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Baron Calthorpe, of Calthorpe, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1796] on 6 July 1940.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Gough, of Edgbaston, co. Warwick [G.B., 1728] on 6 July 1940.² He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.³

     Peter Waldo Somerset Gough-Calthorpe, 10th Baron Calthorpe was born on 13 July 1927.¹ He was the son of Hon. Frederick Somerset Gough-Calthorpe and Rose Mary Dorothy Vernon-Harcourt.¹ He married, firstly, Saranne Francis Alexander, daughter of James Harold Alexander, on 6 June 1956.¹ He and Saranne Francis Alexander were divorced in 1971.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Sibyl Young, daughter of James Young, on 7 July 1979.¹ He died on 23 May 1997 at age 69 at Mount Alvernia Hospital, England^G.²
