     Sarah Elizabeth Johnston was born on 6 December 1956.² She is the daughter of Commander Ian Rochfort Johnston and Mary Elizabeth Harcourt.^2,1 She married William James Archer Ziegler, son of Paul Oliver Ziegler and Margaret Sybil Cust, in 1979.¹
     From 1979, her married name became Ziegler. She lived in 2003 at Lords Oak Cottage, Landford, Wiltshire, England.²

     Laura Catherine Johnston was born on 16 March 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Ian Rochfort Johnston and Mary Elizabeth Harcourt.¹
     She lived in 2003 at 8 Pembroke Gardens Close, London, England.¹

     Cecilia Caroline Harcourt was born on 6 October 1831.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Harcourt and Matilda Mary Gooch.² She married Admiral Sir Edward Bridges Rice, son of Edward Royds Rice and Elizabeth Knight, on 18 February 1864.² She died on 17 February 1912 at age 80.²
     Her married name became Rice.

     Admiral Sir Edward Bridges Rice was born on 30 October 1819.¹ He was the son of Edward Royds Rice and Elizabeth Knight.² He married Cecilia Caroline Harcourt, daughter of Reverend William Harcourt and Matilda Mary Gooch, on 18 February 1864.³ He died on 30 October 1902 at age 83.³
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)⁴ He lived at Dane Court, Dover, Kent, England^G.³

     Selina Anne Harcourt was the daughter of Reverend William Harcourt and Matilda Mary Gooch.¹ She married Sir Warwick Charles Morshead, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Frederick Treise Morshead, 2nd Bt., on 8 June 1854.¹ She died on 14 September 1883, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Morshead.

     Sir Warwick Charles Morshead, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Frederick Treise Morshead, 2nd Bt. He married Selina Anne Harcourt, daughter of Reverend William Harcourt and Matilda Mary Gooch, on 8 June 1854.¹ He died on 17 March 1905.¹
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Morshead, of Trenant.¹

     Agnes Elizabeth Amesbury was born circa 1844.² She was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Amesbury and Caroline Raleigh.¹ She married Major Lord Richard Howe Browne, son of Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo and Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh, on 16 December 1863.² She died on 17 January 1885.²
     Her married name became Browne.

     Benjamin Meade was born on 17 December 1963.¹ He is the son of Simon Robert Jasper Meade and Lady Catherine Sophia Gathorne-Hardy.²

     Henry Austin Bruce, 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn was born on 16 April 1815 at Duffryn, St. Melons, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He was the son of John Bruce Bruce-Pryce and Sarah Austin. He married, firstly, Annabella Beadon, daughter of Richard Beadon and Annabella à Court, on 6 January 1846.¹ He married, secondly, Norah Creina Blanche Napier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox, on 17 August 1854.¹ He died on 25 February 1895 at age 79, from influenza.¹ He was buried at Mountain Ash, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln Inn in 1837 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glamorgan in 1847.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan in 1847.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Merthyr Tydvil between 1852 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department between 1862 and 1864.¹ He was Vice-President of the Council on Education in 1864.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 26 April 1864.¹ He held the office of Secretary of State for the Home Department between 1868 and 1873.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Renfrewshire between 1869 and 1873.¹ He was President of the Council on Education between August 1873 and February 1874.¹ He was created 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn, co. Glamorgan [U.K.] on 23 August 1873.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 20 January 1876.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1880.¹ He held the office of President of the Royal Geographic Society between 1880 and 1886.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) on 7 January 1885.¹
     Gibbs describes Henry as "an amiable man of fine presence and popular in society" and states that "he was an industrious, but not a gifted nor a successful, politian. He was one of the few Peers who supported Gladstone when that Minister gave way to the Irish demand for Home Rule."² He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Annabella Beadon was the daughter of Richard Beadon and Annabella à Court.² She married Henry Austin Bruce, 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn, son of John Bruce Bruce-Pryce and Sarah Austin, on 6 January 1846.¹ She died on 28 July 1852.¹
     From 6 January 1846, her married name became Bruce.
