     Major James Ross O'Connell was born on 28 August 1863.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice James O'Connell, 2nd Bt. and Emily Clunes O'Conor.2 He died on 25 February 1925 at age 61.1
     He gained the rank of Dongola Expedition in 1896.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1898.1 He was awarded the Order of the Medjidie 4th Class.1 He was awarded the Order of Osmanieh 3rd Class.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.1 He held the office of Governor of Kordofan.1

Ellen Mary O'Connell1

     Ellen Mary O'Connell was born on 25 November 1855.1 She was the daughter of Sir Maurice James O'Connell, 2nd Bt. and Emily Clunes O'Conor.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Tucker on 19 April 1902.1 She died on 27 December 1945 at age 90, without issue.1
     From 19 April 1902, her married name became Tucker.

     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1

James Francis Hickie and Dona Lucila Larios y Herreros de Tejada y Las Herras Saenz de Tejada.2,3 She married Sir Morgan Ross O'Connell, 4th Bt., son of Sir Maurice James O'Connell, 2nd Bt. and Emily Clunes O'Conor, on 15 September 1884.1 She died on 19 September 1934.1
     From 15 September 1884, her married name became O'Connell.

     Sir Maurice James Arthur O'Connell, 5th Bt. was born on 24 December 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Morgan Ross O'Connell, 4th Bt. and Mary Pauline Hickie.2 He married Margaret Mary Purcell, daughter of Matthew John Purcell, on 1 June 1920.1 He died on 15 September 1949 at age 59.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment.)1 He gained the rank of Adjutant in the 5th Battalion.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet O'Connell, of Lakeview, Killarney, co. Kerry and of Ballybeggan, Tralee, co. Kerry [U.K., 1869] on 27 April 1919.1 He was awarded the Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.1

     Basil Morgan O'Connell was born on 15 June 1900.1 He was the son of Sir Morgan Ross O'Connell, 4th Bt. and Mary Pauline Hickie.2 He married, firstly, Lucila Concha Margarita Maria Deasy, daughter of Major Henry Hugh Peter Deasy and Dolores Mercedes Leocadia Gertrude Josephine Hickie, on 19 April 1935.1 He married, secondly, Georgia Bard Shearer, daughter of Dr. Christopher Shearer, on 7 May 1962.1 He died in 1971.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He was Commissioner of Kedah State Police between 1936 and 1938.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Penang] in 1938.1 He was Dir of the Criminial Investigative Division, Malayan Union between 1946 and 1947.1 He was Deputy Commissioner of Singapore, CID

Rickard Morgan Deasy and Monica O'Connor.3 He married Dolores Mercedes Leocadia Gertrude Josephine Hickie, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Francis Hickie and Dona Lucila Larios y Herreros de Tejada y Las Herras Saenz de Tejada, on 19 January 1901.2 He died on 26 January 1947 at age 80.2
     He was awarded the Founder's Gold Medal of the Royal Geographic Society for exploration in the Far East.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.1 He was patentee of the Deasy motor car.2 He wrote the book In Tibet and Chinese Turkestan.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He lived at Cnoc na Faire, Carrigahorig, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Lucila Concha Margarita Maria Deasy was born on 30 August 1904.1 She was the daughter of Major Henry Hugh Peter Deasy and Dolores Mercedes Leocadia Gertrude Josephine Hickie.2,3 She married Basil Morgan O'Connell, son of Sir Morgan Ross O'Connell, 4th Bt. and Mary Pauline Hickie, on 19 April 1935.4 She died on 15 June 1953 at age 48.4
     She was an artist.1 From 19 April 1935, her married name became O'Connell.
