Annie Colquhoun Campbell was the daughter of Neil Colquhoun Campbell.2 She married Andrew Agnew Maitland-Heriot, son of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew, on 15 October 1884.1 She and Andrew Agnew Maitland-Heriot were divorced in 1886.1 She died on 28 August 1929.1

Maj.-Gen. Edward M. Maitland Makgill Crichton was born on 23 November 1916 at Hereford, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. David Edward Maitland Makgill Crichton and Phyllis Cuthbert.1,2 He married Sheila Margaret Hibbins, daughter of William Rowland Hibbins, on 4 April 1951.2 He died on 22 December 2009 at age 93 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2
He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1948.2
