Joyce Worsley

     Joyce Worsley was the daughter of Ottwell Worsley and Rose Trevor. She married Sir Richard Culpeper, son of Sir William Culpepper and Philippa Ferrers. She married Sir John Leigh, son of Ralph Leigh and Elizabeth Langley, in 1485.1 She died in 1527.1
     She was also known as Isabel Worsley.1 Her married name became Culpeper. From 1485, her married name became Leigh.1 Her last will was dated 6 April 1527.2

     Sir William Culpepper was the son of Sir John Culpepper and Catherine Charles. He married Philippa Ferrers, daughter of Robert de Ferrers, 5th Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) and Margaret Despenser. He died in 1428.1
     He lived at Aylesford, Kent, EnglandG.

     Robert de Ferrers, 5th Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) was born circa 1358.1 He was the son of John de Ferrers, 4th Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) and Lady Elizabeth de Stafford.1 He married Margaret Despenser, daughter of Edward le Despenser, 1st Lord le Despenser and Elizabeth Burghersh.1 He died circa 12 March 1413.
     He gained the title of 5th Lord Ferrers, of Chartley [E., 1299].

     William Aldeburgh, 2nd Lord Aldeburgh was born before 1358.1 He was the son of William Aldeburgh, 1st Lord Aldeburgh and Elizabeth de l'Isle.1 He married Margery Sutton, daughter of Sir Thomas Sutton and Mary (?).1 He died on 20 August 1391, without issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 6 September 1391.1 He was buried at Church of the Friars Preachers, York, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Aldeburgh [E., 1371] on 1 April 1388.1 His last will was dated 14 November 1390.
     On his death, his Barony fell into abeyance (if it ever existed.)1
