Lionel George Minchin was born on 2 May 1922.1 He was the son of Lionel James Minchin and Sarah Eva May West.2 He married Melvenia Joy Mason, daughter of William Mason, on 26 December 1942.1 He died on 19 January 2007 at age 84 at Waikiki, Western Australia, Australia.3
