     Robert Jocelyn, Viscount Jocelyn was born on 20 February 1816.1 He was the son of Robert Jocelyn, 3rd Earl of Roden and Hon. Maria Frances Catherine Stapleton.1 He married Lady Frances Elizabeth Cowper, daughter of Peter Leopold Louis Francis Nassau Cowper, 5th Earl Cowper and Hon. Emily Mary Lamb, on 9 April 1841.1 He died on 12 August 1854 at age 38.1
     He was styled as Viscount Jocelyn in 1820.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for King's Lynn between 1842 and 1854.2 He was Secretary of the Board of Control between 1845 and 1846.2

Emily Mary Lamb.1,2 She married Robert Jocelyn, Viscount Jocelyn, son of Robert Jocelyn, 3rd Earl of Roden and Hon. Maria Frances Catherine Stapleton, on 9 April 1841.3 She died on 26 March 1880.2
     She was awarded the Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.)4 She held the office of Extra Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria.4 Her married name became Jocelyn.

     John Strange Jocelyn, 5th Earl of Roden was born on 5 June 1823.1 He was the son of Robert Jocelyn, 3rd Earl of Roden and Hon. Maria Frances Catherine Stapleton.1 He married Hon. Sophia Hobhouse, daughter of John Cam Hobhouse, 1st and last Baron Broughton of Broughton-de-Gyfford and Lady Julia Tomlinson Hay, on 31 July 1851.2 He died on 3 July 1897 at age 74, without male issue.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.3 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.3 He was commanding officer of the 2nd Jäger Corps, British German Legion.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down.3 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Roden, of High Roding, co.      Sybil Pleydell-Bouverie was born on 13 December 1878 at 23 Hans Place, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Major Walter Pleydell-Bouverie and Mary Bridgeman Bridgeman-Simpson.1 She married Mervyn Richard Wingfield, 8th Viscount of Powerscourt, son of Mervyn Wingfield, 7th Viscount Powerscourt and Lady Julia Coke, on 9 June 1903 at St. George's Hanover Sqare, London, England.3,2 She died on 6 December 1946 at age 67 at Powerscourt, County Wicklow, Ireland.3,2
     Her married name became Wingfield. After her marriage, Sybil Pleydell-Bouverie was styled as Viscountess Powerscourt on 5 June 1904. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)3
