     Cecil Henry Stafford Northcote was born posthumously on 8 June 1912.1 He was the son of Cecil Stafford Northcote and Ida Sybil Mary Boulderson.2 He married Winifreda Iola Marguerite Williams, daughter of Frederick de Lobau Williams, on 28 December 1936.1 He died on 20 April 2003 at age 90.1
     He was educated at Douai School, Upper Woolhampton, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of officer in 1941 in the Royal Army Educational Corps.1 He was (an unknown value) at St. Bede's School, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta in 1957.1 He held the office of Member of the Staffordshire County Council in 1958.2 He was appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1981.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1982.1

     From 28 December 1936, her married name became Stafford Northcote.
