     From 20 October 1880, her married name became Townshend.

     Captain Harry Leigh Townshend was born on 27 June 1842. He married Hon. Anne Ellen Brooks, daughter of Thomas Brooks, 1st Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Catherine Jones, on 20 October 1880.¹ He died on 30 April 1924 at age 81.¹
     He lived at Caldecote Hall, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

Ruth Adamson Brooks was born on 31 August 1864.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Brooks, 1st Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Catherine Jones.² She married Major Charles Richard Tennant, son of Captain Charles Edmund Tennant and Anne Sophia Temple, on 18 November 1886.¹ She died on 20 November 1943 at age 79.¹
     From 18 November 1886, her married name became Tennant.

     Major Charles Richard Tennant was the son of Captain Charles Edmund Tennant and Anne Sophia Temple. He married Hon. Ruth Adamson Brooks, daughter of Thomas Brooks, 1st Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Catherine Jones, on 18 November 1886.¹ He died on 9 December 1937.¹
     He lived at St. Anne's Manor, Sutton, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Life Guards.¹
