Lydia Lucy Wingfield Digby was the daughter of Reverend John Digby Wingfield Digby and Anne Eliza Smith.1,2 She married, firstly, Charles Purdon Coote, son of Robert Carr Coote and Margaret Grier, in 1846.1 She married, secondly, James Hewitt, 4th Viscount Lifford, son of James Hewitt, 3rd Viscount Lifford and Hon. Mary Ann Maude, on 9 December 1851.3 She died on 28 April 1919.1
From 1846, her married name became Coote. Her married name became Hewitt. After her marriage, Lydia Lucy Wingfield Digby was styled as Viscountess Lifford on 22 April 1855.

Somerset Henry Maxwell of Calderwood, 10th Baron Farnham was born on 7 March 1849.1 He was the son of Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell and Charlotte Anne Elrington.1 He married Lady Florence Jane Taylour, daughter of Thomas Taylour, 3rd Marquess of Headfort and Amelia Thompson, on 5 August 1875.2 He died on 22 November 1900 at age 51.1
