Sir Alan Hilary Moore, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 January 1882.1 He was the son of Sir Norman Moore, 1st Bt. and Amy Smith.2 He married Hilda Mary Burrows, daughter of Rt. Rev. Winfrid Oldfield Burrows and Mary Talbot, on 26 April 1922.1 He died on 13 June 1959 at age 77.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated with a Diploma of Public Health (D.P.H.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He gained the rank of Temporary Surgeon in the Royal Navy, during the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moore, of Hancox, Whatlington, co. Sussex [U.K., 1919] on 30 November 1922.1 He was Medical Officer of Health for Battle Rural District in 1934.1 He was Medical Officer of Health for Rye Rural District in 1941.1 He was Governor between 1953 and 1957 at Bexhill County Grammar School for Boys and Girls, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex, EnglandG.1

Hilda Mary Burrows was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Winfrid Oldfield Burrows and Mary Talbot.2 She married Sir Alan Hilary Moore, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Norman Moore, 1st Bt. and Amy Smith, on 26 April 1922.1 She died on 12 August 1950.1

Richard Gillachrist Moore was born on 20 February 1931.1 He was the son of Sir Alan Hilary Moore, 2nd Bt. and Hilda Mary Burrows.2 He married Ann Hilary Miles, daughter of W/Cdr. Charles Cleaver Miles, on 25 June 1955.1 He died on 15 May 2019 at age 88.3
