David John St. Maur Tabor was born on 5 October 1922 at Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, England.2 He was the son of Harry Ernest Tabor and Madelaine Frances Abel Smith.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Pamela Roxane Nivison, daughter of John Nivison, 2nd Baron Glendyne and Ivy May Rose, on 27 July 1955.1 He married Beatrice Marguerite Arkwright in 1989 at North Cotswold, Gloucestershire, England.2 He died on 18 May 2004 at age 81 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.2
He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Horse Guards.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived in 2003 at Lower Farm, Compton Abdale, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
