     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Horse Guards.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Lower Farm, Compton Abdale, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     From 10 June 1953, her married name became Leuchars. She lived in 2003 at 5 Chelsea Square, London, England^G.¹

     Raymond Leuchars lived at White Lodge, Alfriston, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Peter Raymond Leuchars was the son of Raymond Leuchars.² He married Hon. Gillian Wightman Nivison, daughter of John Nivison, 2nd Baron Glendyne and Ivy May Rose, on 10 June 1953.¹ He died on 17 July 2009.³
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Welsh Guards.¹ He was appointed Bailiff Grand Cross, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (G.C.St.J.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹
