     Major Edward Charles Trollope was born on 20 August 1849.¹ He was the son of William Henry Trollope and Mary Arthur Worsop.² He married, firstly, Louisa Sarah Pipon, daughter of Robert Pipon, on 5 October 1871.¹ He married Eva Annie Noel Rich, daughter of Captain Frederick Dampier Rich and Jessy Catherine Hesketh Lethbridge, on 27 May 1886.¹ He died on 23 February 1904 at age 54.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Louisa Sarah Pipon was the daughter of Robert Pipon.² She married Major Edward Charles Trollope, son of William Henry Trollope and Mary Arthur Worsop, on 5 October 1871.¹ She died on 19 August 1882.¹
     From 5 October 1871, her married name became Trollope.

     Mary Emily Arthur Trollope was the daughter of Major Edward Charles Trollope and Louisa Sarah Pipon.² She married Frederick William Cape on 19 September 1917.¹ She died on 1 March 1951. He d 14 March 1749.¹
