     Harry Scott was the son of W. H. Scott.² He married Sibyl Mary Jardine, daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger, on 7 January 1896.¹ He died in 1935.¹

     Margaret Lindsay Jardine was the daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger.² She married Sir George Douglas Dixie, 12th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Beaumont Churchill Dixie, 11th Bt. and Lady Florence Caroline Douglas, on 8 April 1902.¹ She died on 19 June 1973.¹
     Margaret Lindsay Jardine usually went by her middle name of Lindsay.¹ From 8 April 1902, her married name became Dixie.¹

     Sir George Douglas Dixie, 12th Bt. was born in 1876.² He was the son of Sir Alexander Beaumont Churchill Dixie, 11th Bt. and Lady Florence Caroline Douglas.² He married Margaret Lindsay Jardine, daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger, on 8 April 1902.¹ He died on 25 December 1948.³
     Sir George Douglas Dixie, 12th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Douglas.³ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers.³ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Dixie, of Market Bosworth, co. Leicester [E., 1660] on 20 August 1924.¹

     Jane Margaret Norcott was born on 3 February 1808.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. John Norcott.¹ She married Robert Crone, son of Robert Fennell Crone and Martha Norcott, in 1829.¹ She died on 19 August 1878 at age 70 at Cobh, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
     From 1829, her married name became Crone.¹

     Ebenezer Young was born after 1767.¹ He was the son of Thomas Young and Grizel Craik.¹ He died in 1788.¹

     Winifred Mary Hamilton Young was the daughter of Major Thomas Young and Harriet Charlotte Ramsay.² She married Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 10th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger, on 10 February 1914.¹ She died on 12 November 1954.¹
     From 10 February 1914, her married name became Jardine.¹

     Sir William Edward Jardine of Applegirth, 11th Bt. was born on 15 April 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 10th Bt. and Winifred Mary Hamilton Young.² He married Ann Graham Maitland, daughter of Major Claud Archibald Scott Maitland and Cecil Louise MacKenzie, on 2 June 1944.¹ He died on 19 April 1986 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Jardine, of Applegirth [N.S., 1672] on 27 March 1942.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers in 1953.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfriesshire in 1963.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 4th/5th King's Own Scottish Borderers (Territorial Army) between 1963 and 1967.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1966.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in 1967.¹

     Lt.-Col. Charles Patrick Anderson is the son of Lt.-Col. William Herbert Anderson, V.C. and Gertrude Campbell Gilmour.^1,2 He married Christian Maule Jackson Jardine, daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 10th Bt. and Winifred Mary Hamilton Young, on 15 October 1940.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Christian Maule Jackson Jardine was born circa 1916.² She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 10th Bt. and Winifred Mary Hamilton Young.³ She married Lt.-Col. Charles Patrick Anderson, son of Lt.-Col. William Herbert Anderson, V.C. and Gertrude Campbell Gilmour, on 15 October 1940.¹ She died on 3 June 2014.²
     From 15 October 1940, her married name became Anderson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Ulva Ferry, Isle of Mull, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹
