Sir Brian Fulke Cameron-Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, 5th Bt. was born on 18 December 1898.2 He was the son of Sir Henry William Cameron-Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, 3rd Bt. and Ada Christina Lucy.2 He married Hon. Alice Caroline Helen Buchan, daughter of John Buchan, 1st Baron Tweedsmuir and Susan Charlotte Grosvenor, on 29 July 1933.1 He died on 21 January 1974 at age 75.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Cameron Highlanders.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the General Officer Commanding Madras District between 1922 and 1925.2 He gained the rank of Adjunct between 1928 and 1931 in the Cameron Highlanders.2 He was a steward at the National Greyhound Racing Club between 1928 and 1933.2 He held the office of Lord High Commissioner to the Chief of Scotland between 1931 and 1934.2 He was a children's author.2 He wrote the book Horses in the Valley.2 He wrote the book The Children of the House.2 He fought in the First World War, he was wounded.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant between 1940 and 1942 in the Auxiliary Territorial Force.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, of the Holmes, co. Roxburgh [U.K., 1836] on 22 December 1965.2
