Major Allen Forbes Malcolmson is the son of Captain James Grant Malcolmson.1 He married Susannah Mary Yorke, daughter of James Hamilton Langdon Yorke and Violet Mary Vincent, on 7 July 1938.1
He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.1 From 7 July 1938, his married name became FitzGerald.
