Timothy Bryan Richard Grey was born on 5 June 1931.1 He was the son of Commander Aubrey Arthur Douglas Grey and Joan Fabian Dickinson.2 He married, firstly, Pamela Anne Murphy, daughter of Colonel Denys Fitzgerald Murphy, on 19 March 1955.1 He and Pamela Anne Murphy were divorced in 1960.1 He married, secondly, Gillian Annys Hillman, daughter of E. R. Hillman, in 1960.1 He died in 1992.1
He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.1 In 1968 he formed Timothy Grey Film Partnership Ltd.1
