     From 12 June 1897, her married name became Dyer.

     Sir Leonard Schroeder Swinnerton Dyer, 15th Bt. was born on 30 March 1898.¹ He was the son of Sir Leonard Whitworth Swinnerton Dyer, 14th Bt. and Lucy Schroeder.² He married Barbara Brackenbury, daughter of Hereward Brackenbury, on 16 June 1925.¹ He died on 10 June 1975 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1916 in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1678] on 19 August 1947.¹ He was president of the British Chess Federation between 1956 and 1958.¹ He held the office of Chairman of the Shropshire County Council between 1969 and 1975.¹
