     From 11 April 1814, her married name became Dyer.

     Matilda Dyer is the daughter of Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 8th Bt. and Mary Davis.² She married E. R. Davy on 31 January 1857.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir John Dyer was born on 5 February 1772.¹ He was the son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Smith.² He married Jane Halliday, daughter of Simon Halliday, on 14 March 1795.¹ He died on 2 July 1816 at age 44, killed.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Simon Halliday lived at Brompton Hall, London, England^G.¹ He lived at Westcombe Park, Kent, England^G.¹

     Jane Halliday was the daughter of Simon Halliday.² She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Dyer, son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Smith, on 14 March 1795.¹ She died on 11 March 1851.¹

     Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 9th Bt. was born on 10 December 1799.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Dyer and Jane Halliday.² He married Mary Anne Clement, daughter of Colonel John Albeck Clement, on 7 February 1832.¹ He died on 2 October 1878 at age 78.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1678] on 27 March 1854.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.¹ He lived at Brompton Hall, London, England^G.¹ He lived at Westcroft Park, Chobham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Edward Dyer was born on 20 July 1774.¹ He was the son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Smith.² He married Jane Hewett, daughter of James Hewett, on 10 October 1801.¹ He died on 6 March 1816 at age 41.¹
