William Grenville Irvine-Fortescue and Joan Evelyn Mary Powell.² He married, firstly, Bridget Unity Awdry, daughter of Colonel Edmund Portman Awdry, on 5 May 1951 at Chippenham, Wiltshire, England.^1,3 He married, secondly, Anne van Gruisen in 1983.¹ He and Anne van Gruisen were divorced in 1987.¹ He died on 15 February 2014 at age 91 at Delph, Saddleworth, Lancashire, England.⁴
