     Mary Halkett is the daughter of Sir Charles Halkett of Pitfirrane, 1st Bt. and Janet Murray.^1,2 She married Brig.-Gen. Hon. Robert Murray, son of Charles Murray, 1st Earl of Dunmore and Catherine Watts, in 1708.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     Janet Murray is the daughter of Sir Patrick Murray of Saltcoats and Pitdinnes.¹ She married Sir Charles Halkett of Pitfirrane, 1st Bt., son of Sir James Halkett and Margaret Montgomery.¹
     Her married name became Halkett.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Hon. Thomas Murray was born in June 1698.¹ He was the son of Charles Murray, 1st Earl of Dunmore and Catherine Watts.¹ He married Elizabeth Arminger, daughter of unknown Arminger.¹ He died on 21 November 1764 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 40th Foot.¹ He lived at Dorney House, Weybridge, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Sally Moore Hezlett is the daughter of Ian Moore Hezlett.¹ She married Hon. Edward Lawies Jackson, son of George William Jackson, 3rd Baron Allerton and Christine Joyce Hatfeild, on 14 January 1953.¹ She and Hon. Edward Lawies Jackson were divorced in 1971.¹
     From 14 January 1953, her married name became Jackson.¹

     Margaret Nairne was born on 16 December 1669.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Nairne, 1st Lord Nairne and Margaret Graeme.² She married William Murray, 2nd Lord Nairne, son of John Murray, 1st Marquess of Athole and Lady Amelia Anne Sophia Stanley, on 28 February 1690.¹ She died on 14 November 1747 at age 77.¹
     From 28 February 1690, her married name became Murray.

     Robert Nairne, 1st Lord Nairne was born circa 1620.¹ He was the son of Robert Nairne and Catherine Preston.² He married Margaret Graeme, daughter of Patrick Graeme, 5th of Inchbrakie and Jean Drummond, before 1669.¹ He died on 30 May 1683.¹
     He was a practising advocate.¹ In 1651 he was captured by the English under General Monck.¹ Between 1651 and 1660 at Tower of London, London, England, he was imprisoned as royalist.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1661.¹ He held the office of Lord of Session in February 1660/61.¹ He held the office of Lord Commissioner of Justiciary in 1671.¹ He was created 1st Lord Nairne [Scotland] on 27 January 1680/81, with special remainder to heirs male of his body and in default of such to Lord George Murray, youngest son of teh Marquess of Atholl and future heirs begotten of him and Margaret Nairne (the 1st Lord Nairne's only dau) and in default of such to any other of the Marquess of Atholl's sons she might happen to marry and heirs begotten by them.¹ On his death the Lordship of Nairne entered into a state of suspension by reason of the later Lord's daughter not yet having married.¹

     Margaret Graeme was the daughter of Patrick Graeme, 5th of Inchbrakie and Jean Drummond.^2,1 She married Robert Nairne, 1st Lord Nairne, son of Robert Nairne and Catherine Preston, before 1669.³ She died circa 1 May 1704. She was buried on 3 May 1704.
     Her married name became Nairne.

     Leopold Charles Jacob Brocklehurst was born on 21 January 2018.¹ He is the son of John Charles Brocklehurst and Harriet Emily Arbuthnot.¹

     John Murray, Master of Nairne was born circa 1691.¹ He was the son of William Murray, 2nd Lord Nairne and Margaret Nairne.² He married Lady Catherine Murray, daughter of Charles Murray, 1st Earl of Dunmore and Catherine Watts, circa 3 November 1712.¹ He died on 11 July 1770 at Sancerre, France.¹
     He was also known as John Nairne.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1715 in the Lord Charles Murray's regiment on Jacobite side.¹ He fought in the Battle of Preston on 14 November 1715, where he was captured along with his father.¹ At Tower of London, London, England, He was imprisoned, found guilty of high treason, attainted and sentenced to death then reprieved.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel of foot in 1719 in the a Jacobite regiment.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Stanley [Scotland] on 24 June 1721, Jacobite.¹ He was created 1st Earl of Nairne [Scotland] on 24 June 1721, Jacobite.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Nairne [S., 1681] on 3 February 1725/26, de jure.¹ He fought in the Battle of Culloden in 1745.¹ He fought in the Battle of Prestonpans in 1745.¹ He fought in the Battle of Falkirk in 1745.¹ He was again attainted and escaped to Sweden.¹

     Lady Catherine Murray was born in 1739.¹ She was the daughter of William Murray, 3rd Earl of Dunmore and Hon. Catherine Murray. She married John Drummond, 3rd of Logie Almond, son of William Drummond and Elizabeth Oliphant, on 8 January 1761 at Logie Almond, Scotland^G.¹ She died in May 1791 at Logie Almond, Scotland^G.¹
     From 8 January 1761, her married name became Drummond.¹
