John Dutton, 2nd Baron Sherborne was born on 24 June 1779.1 He was the son of James Dutton, 1st Baron Sherborne and Elizabeth Coke.1 He married Hon. Mary Legge, daughter of Henry Legge, 2nd Baron Stawell of Somerton and Hon. Mary Curzon, on 11 August 1803.2 He died on 18 October 1862 at age 83.1
