     Rear-Admiral Thomas Graves, 1st Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend was born on 23 October 1725.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Thomas Graves and Elizabeth Budgell.¹ He married Elizabeth Williams, daughter of William Peere Williams, on 22 June 1771.¹ He died on 9 February 1802 at age 76.¹
