     Jane Sheffield was born in 1474 at Chelwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Sir Robert Sheffield and Jane Lounde.^1,2 She married, firstly, Sir Robert Staunton.² She married, secondly, Sir William Hastings, son of Sir William Hastinges, 1st Lord Hastings and Katherine Neville, in 1500 at Chelwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² She married, thirdly, Sir Ralph Shirley, son of John Shirley and Eleanor Willoughby, circa 1514.^1,2
     Her married name became Staunton.² From 1500, her married name became Hastings.² From circa 1514, her married name became Shirley.¹

     Sir Robert Sheffield married Jane Lounde in 1459.²

     Eleanor Knyvett is the daughter of Sir Phillip Knyvett, 1st Bt. and Katherine Ford.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Henry Hastings, son of Walter Hastings and Joyce Roper.¹ She married Thomas Waldron on 3 December 1652.¹
     Her married name became Hastings.¹ From 3 December 1652, her married name became Waldron.¹

     He acquired the manor of Radway and title to the manors of Horley and Hornton, Oxfordshire, through his wife.¹ His last will was dated 7 February 1620.¹

     Elizabeth Washington was born circa 1655.¹ She was the daughter of Lawrence Washington and Eleanor Guise.¹ She married Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers, son of Sir Robert Shirley, 4th Bt. and Catherine Okeover, on 28 December 1671.² She died on 2 October 1693.¹
     From 28 December 1671, her married name became Shirley.²
